I'm regular from the SAF (entered as dip holder). My 5 years contract is ending and soon to graduate with a degree @ unisim.

I just wondering what are my chances of switching to other stat board while still in force.

Anyone here experience such situation like me before?

I don't think you can just switch. You'll have to quit the force and apply the jobs afresh. If you'll looking for higher pay, you'll be far more likely getting it if you stay put.

I agree with this. I don't understand why they keep hiring mid careers when they are rewarding those who have been with them.

Apologies for the totally random question, I have nowhere else to ask.

Does the public sector hire tattooed individuals?
Regardless of exposed/non exposed.

Default No chance in ministry or stats board?

Early 40s earning near 200k, have been trying ministry and stats board AD post with no success in past 4 years. Conclusion is if you earn 150k and above the chance to go ministries and stats board by applying online is NIL

You'll most likely come in as fresh grad, but maybe MX12 (instead of 13). That will equate to about 3.8 - 4.2.

Reason being to earn that much, you are a Director in public agencies. For someone with absolutely zero experience in public sector, that will be impossible. Only chance is if you are the cream of the crop in your sector in the private, and it so happens that the public requires your expertise.

Unless you are willing to take pay cut to 100 - 120 per year.
