looking at this thread civil servants are really well paid. in fact you people are paid higher than market "generalists" with similar working experience. of course this is a general statement that excludes industries such as banking and other professional roles.

no wonder fresh grads nowadays all aspire to go into the civil service and MNCs/GLCs are forced to go down the FT route.

Hi-POs dont get paid more in a month as compared to normal MXes. They get paid an extra allowance every few months. How much and how often I can't remember.

How does one become a HI-PO personnel? Is it determined before they enter the cs or when they are inside then they are then filtered out?

Both ways are possible. However, its also possible that you get kicked out of HI-PO.

My elder brother is 29 years old mx11 hi po and an assistant director in designation. Earning close to 7k and on top of that have additional bonus?

As a matter of fact. Each ministry pay their officer differently even if you are both the same mx grade. They can varies the range of the same grade so no point saying who's facts is right or not. Powerful ministries showers their officers with higher pay compared to the same grade officer in another ministry. Period.

So dun compare age la year of service la smlj degree . Same same but not the same

seems like the hipo program pays really well? 29 years old male means he has only worked for 4 years? and he's already earning 7k? wow
