For degree holders, MX11A is point at which most max out if they are not taking on supervisory duties.

I have 2 young kids so I just need a job that pays the bills and allows me to leave work at 6 to pick my kids up. Not too ambitious also so I don't intend to sacrifice work life balance for promotion.

Then the civil or public service may be a good fit. Not in terms of not needing to work hard, but in that it is the most forward looking with regard to family friendly practices. Good luck

Most statboards should have good work-life balance, though pay is lower. And avoid the more 'xiong' roles like international relations and policy-related work.

Hi all!
Does anyone know the likely pay range for HTX for a fresh grad? (technical role, i.e., data engineer or data scientist)
Thank you!

Same happens to me, join stat board paycut 1.4k, but got Saturday off and go off early can take care my 1 year old child.
Consider overall pay and long term career, hope my decision is correct.
