all public service agencies should have an equivalent MX scheme for pegging purpose.

Do u know of any exception?

there are a lot of other specialist schemes in the stat boards e.g. engineers are on their own scheme - no way they are on the same MX scheme when their starting pay is significantly different from other fresh grads

You can take it as a reference. Neither all private sector companies is offering higher than public sector nor is the public sector offering higher than private sector.

It ultimately boils down to your experiences. How do you expect an employer to offer you high salary when you got zero experience or if youíre a fresh grad regardless of private or public sector?
Thanks for sharing. Can we get more valuable contributions like this instead of people trolling around... zzz

Yes, this is correct. Fundamentally, there is the normal timescale and super-scale.

Currently mx12 but moved to an mx 11 role. Will I be promoted to mx11 next year? Or is it possible that I may remain at mx12 despite doing an mx11 role? Thanks in advance

Hi all, just wondering how is the career trajectory for PSC scholars like? How's their starting salary for tech related domain? If put on PSLP means very fast career growth? Assuming you get offered PSC scholarship and maybe DSTA/DSO/Smart Nation scholarship, which would you guys take, considering factors like skills gained, career growth, and skills transferability? Thanks

The real answer is that it depends on your Boss and HOD. Isn't it? (what other answers do you expect, really)

Really congrats! May I know which course of study? I FCH from humanities but cannot secure any CS interview. I donít know whatís wrong with me. Could it be my lack of internship in CS? But I did not apply for CPF or MOM.

I donít know about CPF, but my aunt from MOM and the welfare benefits there looks good.

Hi same poster from earlier.

Graduated with an economics degree, but have undertaken a CS internship in my final year. I think that helped immensely as it provided relevant talking pointers, but also I believe helped with clearances?

Could you share more about MOM benefits?

Go for MOM. Ministries are generally better in terms of salary and benefits, especially when compared with CPF.
