If contract I guess hard to negotiate? You can try asking if they can at least match your last drawn? Onlynif you are keen on this job. I personally will look for another one.

I'm not sure what scheme I'm in, I'm an engineer in a stat board. Every month my payslip shows my MAC as 10% of my gross salary and it hasn't changed.

graduating next year June 2021 with top2 local Uni engineering degree 2nd upper hons.
planning to join the civil service for job security due to ongoing crisis.
my questions are:
1. how much should my expected salary be? 4.5k reasonable?
2. when is a good time to submit my job application? Jan 2021?
3. dsta / dso / lta? which coy have a better environment to work at?

probably 3.7k on general scheme. and between 4k - 4.5k on different type of special scheme

That is NOT MAC lah
MAC is a lump sum payment in XX months for certain schemes, paid out at the end of the year
