Anyway, you are sort of right. In America it is the holy trinity of Yale/Harvard/Stanford with Yale leading the way. Columbia/Chicago/NYU in tier 2 with Columbia leading the way. So Columbia is still damn prestigious in every right. Probably slightly lower than Oxbridge, but ahead of our NUS.
