The rich get richer and the poor get poorer? Hypocrites. That is the purpose of your existence in the firm. To be that ‘leaching boomer’ is your end game.

Law firms are not institutions of post modernistic wealth redistribution. If that’s what you want then focus on pro bono.

You write as though you are owed something for your petty toils. Until you take responsibility for your own career and progression, you will continue to stand there shaking your fist at the gods in your life, wallowing in mediocrity. No one that can help you is listening.

The sense of entitlement on this thread is strong.

Prior to Covid, could expect 1-2.5 months over and above the gross figures from the previous post (i.e. total $134-$155k for 4Q year) depending on grading band. Most doing ok would have gotten closer to the upper end of that band

And there you have it. Let’s see how that works out for you.

How predictable.

Dun lik dat sho mean leh~ we juniors already everyday work 15 hours, kena scolded, now kena pay cut and maybe retrenched. Can sell off your S-class and Bungalow pump money in the firm since we are all a 'family' and a 'team'? You will still have your BMW 7 series to drive and your condo in orchard road mah~ We promise to be good slaves and drag your trolley bag around and immediately reply to your 'pls fix' emails
