What if I want to join another department? I heard Disputes is doing well and on some very high profile matters and fairly well managed.

Heard that they are the fastest growing dept there and in past 3 yrs made most number of partners up. If you are lateral and senior enough there is no problem for them to parachute you in as a proper partner without expectation of porting book. So yes excellent dept.

How are the partners there? Can compare to the likes of CC and other places?

On par or even better. The full directors there are Silk standard and the younger partners are destined for future Silks. They already had 2 young partners who were called up as Judges so speaks volumes of the training there.

Mate the 5% was to catch up with the US firms 2020 fall bonus plus 5% is a joke compared to these. These are also 2021 spring and fall bonuses.
