false hope is the worst they can give to a candidate. But the next time they praise you and give you high hopes just take it with a pinch of salt... it's a common tactic to keep potential candidates on a thread while they continue to sift through other candidates. My guess is they probably have some delay due to covid or they found someone better and are stuck in a decision making process.

In the meantime, continue applying for more jobs out there and cast your net open!

If the HR sent a rejection letter to you.. imagine what happens when the hiring manager decided to pursue their interest with you? Isn't it a bit paiseh to retract rejection? Not professional at all to do so.

Unless there is a solid base you don't qualify for the role at all, then yes, they will send rejection. Most of the time, HR treat you as suitable candidate.
So that means, if they give you rejection letter, you are 100% beh kan?

Yes, you can try send a senior role application. You will receive the rejection letter if HR deemed you not ready for the jump.

Question

When you guys apply for a job.. Do you guys fill in the details of your application or just submit blanks with resume?

Seems redundant to have resume but need to fill in the application details, but I assume this is standardized format of job portal, which is unnecessary.

I fill up everything, unless not applicable (NA)

Job hunting is a full time job by itself. Fill everything no matter how tedious. You have to maximise your chances and minimise any reasons (no matter how stupid) for rejection.

On average, how long does the hr take to send you the offer contract after emailing you to tell you that you’re successfully recruited to the company?
