It happen to my case. Friday interview, following Monday HR called to inform me on their intention to hire me but was pending paperwork completion.

Yes, this is very true. I also had my interview on Friday, and the following Monday the HR of the organization inform me about my offer. Apparently, they took quite long to process my contract hahaha

Hi all, I would like to know if we can trust the status updates on the portal? My status has been changed to 'shortlisted' for almost a month but I have yet to receive any information for interview so I am seriously doubting if I am really shortlisted or not. I would love to give a call or send an email to the hr but no contacts were provided.

You might want to check with them, by emailing them or the career@gov admin.

But sometimes, the status cannot be trusted because there might be a last min change in status but they didnt update. I got a lot of status remain unchange for the past one year++. So only confirm when you receive a call.

Around 2 weeks or so. If they bo call you means ok liao. If they call u regarding the medical checkup matter, then got problem liao

I recently applied for MCI (Ministry of Comm and Info) and it took them about 3 weeks to progress from "submitted" to "In Process". I've not been called up for interview yet.

Should I just wait a while more or look for jobs in the private sector again?
