That being said, it's not the quantity that determines the success but the quality of the interview yeah?
Followed up with post interview thank you note. HR said I will hear from them approx 2 weeks from now.... A part of me hopes that the reason why my interview is especially long is because the interviewers are interested to hear my opinions and perspectives. I doubt interviewers will purposely drag the interview process if they feel that the candidate has little to contribute to the organisation.

Maybe.. During the initial call from hr (before going for interview), they did mentioned my expected is higher than what they can offer. I understand and hence mentioned that salary is negotiable. During the interview, also did mention that salary is open for discussion.
Anyway i tried to call hr to check on the status, as in just want to know if I'm already being rejected or probably they are still shortlisting candidates. But hr didn't pick up the line..
I'm disappointed cuz the scope and environment is what I'm interested on plus everything seems smooth during the interview. Really dunno what went wrong..

I just got an offer from 1 of the companies in private sector. Truth be told, I wasn't too happy about the news being recruited, and there's a high chance I may reject the offer. Yes, partly because I am still pining hopes on employment with SB, and also I am not exactly a big fan of the private company job scope and their pushy culture. Has anyone ever rejected a job offer on the basis of not feeling good and at peace with the job offer?
On a separate note, the HR officer who interviewed me for the job which I am being offered told me that she used to apply to SB, and it took SB 3 freaking months to get back to her (from last round of interview to job offer) Now, that's really encouraging as long as you have a little faith and patience...

I have only rejected before due to low pay... how long have u waited for the SB reply? No news from them at all? Did HR say they will reply only if you are chosen, or will they also reply if they rejected you?
