Civil Svc/ Statboard - Typical Timeline for making a Hiring Decision

I had an interview with a SB this week as well and it lasted for only 15 minutes.... was told that I'll hear back in 1 or 2 weeks. So we shall see. Dont have my hopes up though :/

That's hard to say. Some SB may not even utilised the applications on their career@gov portal. That's why the application status is always "Processing" by default, even though you submitted 6 mths ago.

3 weeks since my last interview. The last I called HR, they mentioned that they were interviewing the 2nd batch of applicants, & coincidentally the head of dept is out of town. Should I worry with this ambiguous news, since it can be either good or bad?

true haha cos i am working in a SB now and I have completed my part time studies. as here does not have any progression any more so i thinking moving into another SB or Ministry to gain more experience.

Apply quite a few post last week. so still waiting
