Does converting to an SG PR result in an increase in basic salary? I am an AHP from NUHS.

Anyone knows what's the % increment from JIG 14 to JIG 15, JIG 15 to 16 and JIG 16 to JIG 17? Is it always about 6-7% or is it different for different JIG?

yes, you start receiving CPF contributions
but you stop receiving housing allowance
but CPF contributions + no allowance also mean you pay less taxes
overall increase pay but decrease take-home pay, actual net effect depends on exact numbers

No such thing. Only change to your CPF take home and contribution rate.

Many AHP I know using Singapore as a springboard to UK/US, or earn & go back Malaysia. They will not take up citizenship.
No choice since not enough manpower maybe?

It depends. Many cannot resist the money and will quietly take up citizenship.

Mostly is one spouse takes up citizenship, the other remains as PR.
