I got an interview with SIAEC for the LAE apprenticeship programme this coming thursday.
Anyone can share some insights like;

1. What's the gross pay like for the first 3.5 years?

2. Bond duration?

I think u should get by that time….anyway,u still need to serve the bond….but I hope they wont cut the salary during the bond period…

Around 1.4k to 1.6k.new scheme with no flight benefits..after u pass out,u haave to pay back 250 each month for 1st 3 years.

Interview is easy plus have some paper motor skill test.as 380 d-check cuming,so the company is kan chiong to train engineer.it is never to old to be apprentice.the problem is 1st 3 years of apprentice pay.

I think the scheme revised again.....now they paying $1.6K for the 1st two years and 1.7k for the next two years ...no need to pay back anything.....no other benefits as well...

This is equivalent of signing on hor, at least 4years then you get decent pay, and if you want out, gg for life

Now i heard of a manpower talent pool.once u are trained by "the company",after u pass out u will be placed at an agency i.e under wda.when the company requiered then they willcall u.if not u will be at the agency.its like something like maid agencies where the maid are skilled homemaker.
