Less than 7k is a joke. That’s 2016 pay. Even more so for consulting people who are going back to their S&C job family from Level 9 onwards. Before TAP combined, consulting folks were already getting slightly highly in pay from Analyst level, but because of some senior person who want to manage and “standardise” across then combined tech and consulting analyst programs into the current TAP. Those other pod people understand you also but in this shithole the worst are really consulting aligned folks. More to do get pay way lower

Why so surprised? Better question to ask is why will you subject yourself to years no salary freeze and no promo

Wouldn’t be surprise that accenture is cutting people too, just look now so many company’s are cutting jobs for cost cutting efforts - BP, banks like SCB and Citi etc. this also explains lesser projects especially with private sector clients cos they themselves are cutting cost, wouldn’t even be willing to spend to buy our services

Although this is workplace but can make friends here really should treasure cos it’s considered fortunate. Friends is not those that can gossip and you see everyday on project, but if you find a friend who treats you truthfully and help you in your job or advice and guide you etc this is true friend to keep. This is not just in Accenture but particularly so here it’s really a dog eat dog, throw you under the bus and well consulting the more you will meet people who cares only about themselves and you’re just replaceable. So better appreciate those true friends you meet here. Coming from experience may sound random but we tend to take for granted all the constant help such friends provide, once it’s gone you start to feel it more distinctly.
