Joined in early 2021, but missed promotion this cycle. I asked people lead he say my project think I am not ready. But usually at work no one even said anything to me. In fact once my team leads say I am doing well. Really fked up. I am searching for new job now already. Once get offer I just tender here already. Really pointless seeing people who join after you promoted

You do what you have to do but a word of advice, there will always be people who will always be ahead of you... in terms of money, height, appearance, family's net-worth, assets, age, etc.

So what's the point? You join a new job, same thing happens, then what? You quit again?

Stop comparing yourself to others, compare yourself to your old self. You should be better than who you were last year in terms of not just your pay and title but work, health, outlook on life etc.

If you keep comparing yourself to your peers, you are going to be miserable for the rest of your life.

yea I also feel very discourage when I see my junior get promoted

I raise this up with other people

U know what they say? Promotion is due to mediocracy, should promote base on "readiness" instead of tenure

oh well....they are not really wrong

I got an offer for tap, but I may be graduating with no honours or third class honours… will my offer be rescinded? And does this affect your promotion? So even if your work performance is good but your grad honours no good then?

No , it doesn't matter. Just prove yourself at work and absorb the knowledge and experience like a sponge and you be fine.
