Yeah. Wage freeze for July.
Luckily I'm outsource and contract renewed in Jan.
Will they backdate pay cut?
If wage freeze, they also won't hire fresh grad right?

I advise you to actively seek out job.
My contract ending in September. Jobline alrrady sent out reminder.
I checked with my boss. He is very dodgy.
Now with the wage freeze announcement.
I feel like a lost course. Anyway today will just work slowly.
If no renewal then no renewal. Its okay. Life goes on.

I feel disheartened that there is a wage freeze.
I have been going to work non-stop due to defense nature (essential) while most of the other outsource staff stayed at home.
Now the pay freeze only after the perm staff like us, it seems those contract staff wage is not affected cause they are considered 'services' which is already paid for or already budgetted.
Outsource staffs like to compare say we perm staff are better.
IMO i feel that contract staff is better.
Can come and go anytime, no obligation, no bond, etc.

You dont have doesnt mean people dont have. the 2018 to 2019 pay jump of 1k is the conversion of old scheme to new scheme based on his m1 grading
