he's saying that some new scheme E6 get offered 4.6k - 5.6k with 5-8 years experience. i personally have seen E6 with 7 years exp get offered more than 5k. So your current salary of 4.2k at E6 with 5 years exp, you may be shortchanged

Yours is abit on the low side. I myself and a few colleagues drawing around 5k+/-. Around the same number years of experience.

I still got 2.5 months bonus le. No AWS.
My new boss keep saying department not making profit. In the red zone. Very hard to justify offering high pay sia.

HR follow degree and academic result. they don recognize all uni.
i have a cvolleague university in australia. not recognised. his title only technician. not engineer. even though he did took 4 years part time to complete the degree

E5 got split into 2 parts too, though its not explicitly stated.

I have 1.5 years exp before joining ST. Getting pay at 2.9k.
ST offered me 3.3k when I join 3 years ago. I recently left ST this year just before covid.

Last drawn new scheme pay is 4k.
I got a better offer at ncs 4.2k only to find out fresh grad is offered the 4.2k package.
I'm technically 4.5 years exp.

I think I screwed up by accepting too low entry level pay. Now I'm just on par with fresh grad.
