my suggestion is to take up the job. the job market is really bad right now and what you want to do might not be hiring. i gave myself a few months to look for jobs that i really wanted but not much luck. end up accepting a job which offered me. you feel feel happier when you're employed, even if it is something you are not that keen in.

job market is really tragic in my opinion..
