Wow you guys make me so envious of your incredible pay packages. I'm surprised no one has mentioned the other large software consultancies in SG, namely Accenture and NCS. I don't know about Accenture, but from what I heard NCS salaries is comparatively low (~3.5k/mth for fresh grad), but they also have a relatively low bar for entry i.e. they'll hire you if you know the difference between a "while" and a "do-while" loop. Which is good for no honours goondu compsci graduates like me I guess.

I was approached by a headhunter and went for an interview with Lazada for a developer role for data systems. After the main interview, I told the HR that my expected salary is 6k (15% above what I am getting now), but the girl tell me this is above market.

This thread is starting to be a dick length comparison. Some of the numbers being talked about are ridiculously high and 6-7k for fresh grads are really for the top 1-5%. Look at aggregated data from this post to have a fair overview. Yes, know your worth, but do it with data from a large sample size, not just from a few posters online.
