(soon to be) fresh grad (23 yo local) with a masters (no exp) got an offer for about 70k basic at an intl bank in a middle office role. Figured After bonus should be about 80-85. Reasonable for mid office or should I look for better?

i did games programming, but not for a career. typically around 3.2k - 3.5k for degree holder, pretty much like any other programming jobs.
there's this digipen course for game programmers, but imho it is only useful if you wan to get into their affliated companies like ubisoft.
try starting from diploma level if you are new... many digital entertainment courses and IT courses with game programming modules. It also depends on whether u want to try 3d or 2d games. for 3d games u have an advantage if you can do 3d modelling first.
all in all, game companies only employ those with experience. a diploma course can only give you a hands-on practical approach to making games. if you are good enough, you don't even need to take any courses. just grab source codes and create your very own games to show as your portfolio. game companies are interested in your portfolio.
for a start, can try being an apple developer first.
