Stop thinking of what other people can do for you, but rather what you can do for others.

Paper certifications are getting more and more useless as the days go by.

Did you even do your research before posting this list? At least one of your companies listed has no "program".

UOB MA program. 2,800.
Start off as Manager.
Good points: Office politics always benefit you. Colleagues show you due respect. You don't need to worry about problems as long as you remain polite to them. Even the SVP, VP and AVP have to listen to you.

I work in the lower paying local bank and I'm sure envious of the top two local banks pay and even more for foreign banks pay. But in terms of stability, foreign banks aren't that stable in any period of high mkt volatility.

Pros n cons.

Wink Retirement Accounts

Retirement is not that easy if you do not have a lot of savings. You should be at least financially stable before you retire from your job. A brand new study states that more than a quarter of Americans with 401(k)s and other retirement accounts are dipping into those accounts before retirement to pay the bills. Maybe you should get a short term loan instead of taking cash out of retirement. It is not easy paying for your monthly debts if you are not financially stable after your retirement. You should try availing a short term loan right now if you need help with your expenses and in order to pay your debts on time as well.

Fresh grad, don't talk about starting salary first. I from NUS also having problem looking for job.
Damn frustrating.
When I apply for part-time 6/hour job, people say I over-qualified, and i have to convince them I am WILLING to do it.

Fresh grad just focus on finding a proper full-time job.

One of my friends is the same. cos he want to relax and just do a job he likes, apply 1.8k job also cannot get due to being overqualified.

Anyway, did you graduate this year May only? Have you managed to find a job yet though and how many interviews you went?
