How useful is CMFAS in improving career?

CMFAS is such an easy cert not much brains needed whoever still want to pay for tuition need to get the head checked. Most people just spend a few hours over the weekend before exam and pass each module. As long as you bother to open the materials to read, it is actually hard to fail.

Still need to memorize a bit la. Haha. Especially for the offences, days to report when offence committed, fines, etc. But other than that, yes, it is relatively manageable if you really study.

CMFAS is compulsory for insurance agents.

for non sales bank job, please dont put it on your cv. it is considered as a negative trait.

a full CFA cert should be what you are looking at.

Dude, you've gotten it ass backwards. You only need to take the licensing exams AFTER you get the job, as the license is required to sell/transact/advise capital market and insurance products. Usually, if you get hired for the role means the boss thinks if you are capable enough to handle the job, you are certainly smart enough to pass the license exam. No one is going to hire you BECAUSE you have the license. It's not like having the license means you are good enough for the job. See it like this: All stunt drivers will obviously pass the driving test to get a driver's license but owning a driver's license does not mean you can be a stunt driver...

Why is it a negative trait to have CMFAS?

I am in banking FO sales and trading. Taking your CMFAS exams increases 0 chances of you getting into FO. Just FYI. It's far to basic an exam to be a pre-requisite.
