I know 100k annual used to be the salary 3 batches ago. If there really was no bump, they are significantly behind other tier 1 competitors.

Of course they are. BNP is behind T1 (JPM, MS, MS), T2 (C, B, DB) etc.

Based on what’s advertised, the base is around there. Bonus may have taken up a large proportion of total comp though.
