Default What type(s) of jobs are suitable for me ?

Well recently I have been wondering what type(s) of jobs are suitable for me actually. I am a very reserved person, not outspoken, can't work in a team, can't do discussions. I also find it very hard for speak to strangers too.

What's listed below are not uncommon. But for people to help you, you need to provide us some info about what you are good in. Eg, do you write well?, Are you good with numbers?, Are you a very detailed person?, Are you a responsible person?, Are you courageous?

My project team members are all different. One of them is like what you described. He doesn't mind helping out in taking minutes in our meetings, and he is good in writing codes. He doesn't want leadership role, but he contributes by being good in what he does and is dependable.

TS's qualifications also never write how to expect people to recommend jobs? 'O' levels only? Got degree? Go sign up for some confidence building course first before you find a job.

My writing wise is fairly ok. As for numbers, it is not an issue. I can be quite detailed if I want to, but I am not courageous. Usually I would prefer using a computer as compared to pen and paper. Perform at best when doing work individually and behind the scenes, hence in life many have commented I never show them any effort at all.

If you have core competences, can work independently, dependable, you are definitely employable. You Will probably remain in a "technical" field and not cross into management. And if you cannot take or dislike leadership role, you may not progress far nor much.

You will need a manager or team leader who understand your strength despite your weaknesses, and know how to assign tasks that best makes use of those strength.

I am trying to help. So here is my suggestion.

1. Instead of focusing on what you cant, what can you do ? If you say you cant do a lot of things and very depressed in life etc, i suggest you find someone to talk to. If that is too hard, then try reading the book "living without limits" by Nick Vujicic.

2. Ask yourself, do you want to speak well and speak confidently with people.
If you have that desire, but feel you dont have the "skill", then get involved in community work...why ? Because when u do volunteering in community work, u naturally are working with people whom generally are "more understanding" and compassionate and people whom dont judge by looks etc. Practice there and as you start to do so, i am sure you will find your skills improving as well

you are probably an introvert and introverts can make good leaders. for one, they are normally calm, can think and analyse well, and command trust from people.

what you need to do is to develop and work on some of the traits of being "extroverted" while not losing yourself. learn to speak up and present your opinions when necessary, be more assertive when you feel strongly in something etc.

dun think that being 'extroverted' means better. we need traits of either side to be in the society. but you definitely have to learn to work with people. being independent is good, but some tasks can be completed in a much faster and efficient ways when working in teams.

You can an introvert, a person who talks less but thinks more deeply. Choose a career which interests you a lot so that your love for the job compensates for all the office politics and showmanship from colleagues.
