hahaha. please. if SIM really was that good, you think NUS/SMU/NTU will still have such record number of applicants each year? If SIM really that awesome, no one will bother to study so hard for A-level or dip. Just go SIM nia get their degree can get so high pay.

Seriously, I can't stand the way you put things across.
I graduated from SIM. I was accepted by NUS.

There r many people from sim that are able to make it local Uni. Just take our lousy local Uni courses are bias towards us.

Use ur head to think instead of your butt.

If they are good, they won't end up in SIM.

I think the greatest factor is opportunity. It is somewhat true that employers have preference for local grads, however, it doesn't mean that dl deg holders are lousy. I do have friends who wanted to study biz so much that he dropped the idea of pursuing a technical course in NUS and went on to study at SIM.

Did you just said opportunity? You must be joking, who in the right mind would give a sim an opportunity, where they are known to be full of hot gas and nothing more. If I were an employer, the only opportunity I would give to a sim grad would be sales where they can cannon all they want.

That is not right to say...Employers also do not prefer female applicants who are about to marry because of possible maternity leave etc...

Why the need to look down on SIM grad? Or is it because your previous boss hired an SIM grad over yiou?

Not all SIM students are what you think, and not all NUS/NTU/SMUs students are that high up there either. Please do not steoreotype.

I would say that the pool of students in SIM that are hardworking is lesser than that of local unis, but it does not mean that ALL of them are less hardworking.
