What if my current salary only 2.4, is it better if I only ask for 2.8 instead of 3?
Or just state that my expected salary is 3 and let her negotiate with me?

i always thought that for financial consultant, banks have a pay package to follow so everyone (fresh entry) is the same even thou u have asked for a lower salary.

unethical job search
This friend of mine works in a local bank (LB1) and draws 5000 pm. She went to another local bank (LB2), showed a fake salary slip of 5,500 pm and got an offer for 6000 pm. She showed this offer to LB1 and asked them to match it "or else". Soon she is paid 6,000 pm in LB1. Is this unethical or the standard way of seeking a raise?

Possible. But the trust is broken. Likely, LB1 would just be buying time to replace your friend.
