Background checks

Hi guys,

Have any of you experienced background checks before commencing employment? And has anyone failed these checks?

I had a brief period of job-hopping that I wish to sweep under the rug, and I wonder if a background check may uncover that.

Many candidates do not get real reference these days. Just give them your friend / colleague number and ask him to pose as a Director and former boss and give him a story to say when they call lor. HR usually ask rubbish question like are you team player, got leadership, can take stress etc. very easy to smoke
