Yup, you should! Not just for the sake of employment, but for roles in such sensitive, groundwork industries (social work) they really value prior experience. This traineeship will give you a good edge over other applicants and may very well catapult you into a full time conversion. Take it up!

Hi all! Saw the job being reposted recently after my interview. Does it mean that my application is unsuccessful? HR hasn’t gotten back and status is still “in process”.

It really depends, just keep your fingers crossed. They may just want to see more candidates before making a more informed decision, or sometimes thats how the job portal works as in it is reposted automatically.

Have they told you that how long will it take before they contact you again? If so and waiting time is over, I would suggest dropping them an email to check. Otherwise, wait for their call or update lo.

I would suggest you may just want to double check with them if its something you should be concerned about, since you have already signed the contract. No harm.

I am in the same situation as well, signed the offer but career@gov states application unsuccessful. I think don't have to worry too much as long as you have signed the offer...
