anyone care to share timeline for get g50 clearance?
i was offered a job with one of the ministries in April, been waiting for g50 for 4 weeks already...

Was told in an interview early this year that the clearance will take about 3 months. Now covid, could be much longer.

what??? 3months???? absurd!

hi, went for interview mid march, was told will get back to me 1-2 weeks later. bamz now still no news. emailed hr and didnt get a reply. is it no hope?? heard from my sch career advisor that according to some mom regulation, the ministry must inform you of the outcome regardless success or not. so what is going on here?

You may not get any reply. This is normal from ministry/stat board

In normal time, from first interview to start work will take about 5 months. No kidding!

5 months on the longer side. More like 3 to 4 months.

Are character reference and security clearance checks done before offering?

Character reference check yes, security clearance no.

Anyone with experience on HTX interview process?

Just had my 2nd interview last Tuesday. They did mention that they’ll get back within 1-2 weeks. However based on some posts in this thread it seems that the chances of getting the job gets lower as time goes by? Wondering if anyone who applied for HTX had some experiences on this?
