Is the 100k figure the average? Or 100% of people in 40s are making at least 100k?

Not true to say all should be making at least $100K which implies that those who don't are outliners. I would say the average or 50% will be around $100K, not all should be making at least $100K.
Referernce to the earlier post, an accountancy graduate with 10 years experience in his mid 30s can expects (more than 75%) to get $100-200K, which is higher than the average degree holder. In fact, by the time he hit 40, I think more than 75% will make above $150K.

Qn don't make sense
Your question is apples and oranges.
A pharmacist is a pharmacist but an accountant can be many other things, ranging from venture capitalist to finance manager to CEO.
Second, few people have an equal ability to succeed in both fields. In other words, you are either good at chemistry and biology, or you're good at business. If you choose to do a degree you're not suited for, just because we tell you it pays more, you're gonna do poorly, and you will never achieve the income potential.

For Pharmacy, I would like to find out how much a Hospital Pharmacist (both government and private) and Commercial Pharmacist (Managerial Role in Pharmaceutical Company) would earn in a span of 5-years and 10-years.
Likewise, for Accountancy, I would wish to know how much an Accountant would take home if you were to work in the 1. Government Sector, 2. Big4, 3. SMEs.
TIA!
