Will npl affect promotion?
Consecutive Bs for 2 years, but if I get a default C due to NPL, will it reflect as inconsistency and I have to “restart” the 3 consecutive Bs?

Promotions are no longer tagged to PB

Putting the 3 Bs aside, does anyone know if the default C will affect consistency for promotion? Or it’ll take into consideration that’s NPL?

Yes, npl affects your promotion. But that was when promotion solely dependent on HR. Now that school has some say in promotion, not quite sure if it still applies

This is clearly fake news. How is it possible that promotion is not tagged to performance? There are multitude of factors for promotion: age, years in service, years in sub grade, performance and CEP. And those in the ranking panel will know that there’s still CEP, just that it’s no longer the most important factor but is still a contributing factor for promotion.
For those who said it’s fake news that you cannot get promoted with C grade in the year before, I dare you to go and ask your school leaders if it’s possible. Over the years, promotion has slowed down through many mechanisms - minimum GEO4 for KP role, removal of cohort promotion from GEO2 to GEO3, and the latest being non promotion if the previous year was C because you are performing at sub grade, not above (so why would you be deemed ready for promotion to a higher sub grade?)
Coming from a ranking panellist…

I was promoted from Geo 2 to Geo 3 and from Geo 3 to Geo 4 respectively but only had Cs all along.
