It isn't really on paper like I am an IC or anything but it is tied to my coordinatorship; I can see that SL is guiding me on this area of work while trying to get me to work with different people and getting me to see the people management part and how difficult it can be. My learning curve is very steep but I am very passionate and heartened to be given the chance to help out in this area.
In response to other replies, of course I still do really love teaching and spending time with my students. However, I also need to think of my career prospects. To me, trying to get promoted earlier and hitting the ceiling faster isn't really an issue. I am ready at this phase of life to take on more and feel I should do it now that I can. Definitely not letting all the additional work affect my T&L in any way because I agree and know that's the most important.

There's much to learn as a non-KP, that once you become a KP, you will never be able to learn. T&L is a good example of that. Try being an IC of a comm first.

This datapoint here is one of the most debatable/mysterious in the recent 1 or 2 years.
In the last 10 pgs here, some PGDE GEO2s stated that even as GEO2(T), their highest is probably only 4.5k or so.
Why is there a gap of nearly $700? That's equivalent to 1 promotion increment + 1 merit increment already. Do NIE BA/BSc graduates have an advantage/boost?
Sincerely hoping that it's just a troll datapoint.

Dont equate years in service to being good at teaching. I was given the role of AYH in my 2nd year of service. Mid career GEO4. I am leading teachers with decades of experience. My time in the army has been useful in getting the best out of people.
Next up, confirmation of AYH, and then MM role.
