MINDEF DXO (All FAQ on it)

Any one knows how long after the job offer would we get to sign the contract? Was offered on end dec, did my medical chkup and security clearance but no news of signing yet...

But no, SIM GE and other private uni very difficult or almost impossible to get in. The only DXOs I've seen with private degrees are those who got in with local diploma, into DX4/5 rank and slowly work their way up. Eventually, they are told to get a degree to upgrade themselves and promote further, so some of them take private part-time degrees. Aside from this, there are also those who get in mainly due to their years of experience, hence, their degree doesnt matter much. But these are usually the older ones. There are also those admin aunties, low pay, low rank. Dont think they have degree also.

But in general, you wont be placd on the same track as local grads(even if you get in) unless you are damn zai.

hmm...any idea how much will a unisim Bsc Business (Pass only) graduate's avg salary be if he was selected as a MINDEF DXO?

What job position? From what I know, DXO dont really take in biz grads. And for the fresh grads that they take in, they dont usually take pass degrees. probably around 3k? DXO is usually very generous. 2nd upper and FCH usually can get abou 3.9-4.2.

what is the % annual increment like for dxo? anyone knows?

If you're a male, just ask the questions during your ICT coffee/lunch breaks. There are DXOs in almost every camp, esp the bigger one like divisional levels. Most likely, the officer who in-proc you is also a DXO, check with her.

Okay guys, stop posting like this. Please please include your job scope or job position, different jobs get different pay.

Mindef also hires cleaners, I guess with only 3 years of experience you cfm wont get in, the uncle/auntie all have at least 10 years in cleaning jobs. They earn about 1.5k a month. Maybe if you ask for 1.2k you might get the job.
