They are very efficient and I was called up on 10-March-2014 for the unit preview. I wrote an email and the recruitment manager replied that the unit preview does not have any interview for this posotion and successfully shortlisted applicants will get the job offer.
Am I right to say that after this unit preview, the health screening and security clearance will take place for the successfully shortlisted applicants?

Hi,
I am planning to apply for Executive (Budget Planning and Management).
Anyone with experience can share what the interview process for this position is like and the working environment?
Also, if I were to leave in the future, what are the relevant jobs in the private sector?
Fresh grad here.
Thanks!

Frankly, the only jobs I see that people can hop from public to private are professional appointments (i.e. Auditor, Accountant, Lawyer, Economist, and Corp Comms etc).
It is hard to hop to private unless you have connections/network, or have at least obtained a middle - senior management positions. More so if you're from Mindef. Private will say experience not relevant, and probably have to take a substantial paycut.

Saw a DXO post for Maritime Liaison Executive, anyone has any idea on the jobscope?
Responsibilities
You develop, review and execute shipping engagement strategies, plans and policies to engage the shipping community and obtain MARSEC related information. You are responsible to enhance the awareness on the shipping industry and determine the anomalies for MARSEC threat evaluations through analysing global and local shipping trends, profiles, standards and regulations, and the marine industry developments. Your challenge lies in exploring new ways to establish contact and execute planned activities to network and engage the shipping community, academics and institutions to deepen in-house expertise and obtain proprietary information on MARSEC.

After interview
Hi,
I applied for a DXO position in February. I got through the psychometric test and they called me down for an interview in March. After the interview, I was told that they will let me know the outcome in 2 weeks time. It has been more than 2 weeks already and so I sent them an email. I have yet to receive a reply on the outcome. Was wondering if they would actually send an email notifying me of the outcome whether it is negative or not?

Waiting time
Hi
I heard it takes at least about 1 month for them to revert with an interview schedule and another few more months to conclude the selection.
anyone has any experience of an expedited process?

After not hearing from them about 3 weeks since PT, decided to drop an email to them to check about it. Its then i was replied with a rejection email. Sometimes it is good to push them for an answer, at least wont be stuck there awaiting for reply. Im now thinking if i should try again.
