Executive procurement and sourcing. Actually not really related to wat i am doing. I was terminated at my last job. So i just take it first

after the first interview and after going through all my documents and certs, I was asked to fill up the G50 form before my 2nd interview. They told me that I will need a 2nd interview by the actual site. Does that mean that I am selected or not?

don't think so.. but very high chance since shortlisted for 2nd round.. g50 is part of the recruiterment process, I believe this is to hasten the process if you are shortlisted.. selected is when talk about package. agreed with the package then will ask to go for medical.. nothing is confirmed until they call you to sign the offer.. g50 can take a long time.. depending on cat level.. if you got other offer in between the long process, then you have to make the call..

I heard that at some govt organisations if you're a certain Cat level, then when you leave them, you can't work for foreign linked companies for a number of years.

Anyone heard of that before? Is it true for GovTech?

I think I may not clear, heard some pple say if parents not Singaporean then will not clear cat 1. But I cleared cat 1 before for government project.

not sure if I should continue waiting or look for other opportunities. recently my boss want to send me for course with a short bond but I rejected. if eventually my clearance is not cleared then it's wasted.

I have cleared cat1. Parents PR. But residence here for many years.
