im merely saying that as a bona fide graduate from LSE, i dont give 2 hoots about what they claim - simply because the free market usually corrects that, i.e you wont find a sim person in investment banking/trading/coverage.

I meant, the SIM guy who you spoke to will think you're from SIM. He in turn will tell other SIMians that his "SIM colleague" is in investment banking/trading/coverage.

does it matter?
merely boost their ego if anything. besides, boosting their egos is why they bought a degree from sim in the first place.

Actually if you guys have the time and money (and did well enough for undergrad), you should consider doing a masters abroad (with the actual UOL) -- especially since UOL recognizes its own DL diploma right? Then you'll get something very well recognized. There are SIM alum who go on to do a masters at LSE itself.
Of course, the issue will be money and the opportunity cost of one year of work.

Usually its about 2.3-2.7k. Some firms might offer a bit higher than that, but demand longer work hours or less bonus.

2nd upper should be 3.8k, around the same or if not more than local u graduates. UOL (clementi) graduates are usually highly sought after in all industries, so bro don't worry so much
