Hello. Would it be wise to renege my acceptance of a graduate offer for another company within the SAME industry?

Reason being, the other company offers 10% higher.

Would they really blacklist me?

There is a likelihood I may want to rejoin the company in the future. It is an industry leader. Unfortunately not in terms of pay at the fresh grad level.

A bunch of my friends have rescinded the contracts already for big 4. HR did not mention anything about blacklisting and accepted it. I think they are used to it.

if you signed a contract, it is best to keep your word. so that's why it is really important that you know what you've signed, that you really want that role. honesty is still very important, same goes for keeping your word. you need to show that you are credible.
