The C- is for the level of performance during the 7 mths the staff is with the agency (i.e. in your RO's opinion, you are underperforming for the 7 mths). A typical new staff will be awarded a C and the bonus is prorated accordingly based on 7 mths of work.

U r right…your RO need to write quite abit to give c-

Default Mx12 to mx11

Hi all,

I joined a statboard near cap at MX12 in end of 2022.
2023: C with increment to very close cap.
2024: C with increment to cap.
2025: C+ cap.

Understand from colleagues that 3-5 years is typical for private candidates to promote here from nx12 to 11 in my division. For fresh grad will be 5-6 years. And 2 Bs is last time practice.

I was told by HR before signing that typical for private is 3 years. I guess they are too optimistic.

I guess I will capped for at another 2 years before promotion.

Any advice ? I think it's time to seek other opportunities. Feel that I am being smoked to join here. Have highlighted to boss but he say he can only recommend and I feel there is not much hope.

Not looking good for you since your grading is only c,c,c+. Very hard to justify promotion like this esp when they rank you against other better performing ones. I would suggest to go else where bah
