Haha agreed. Cause usually to promote you would need to have your face at many big project so that the board and your mgmt know you and your potential.
For better grade, your direct boss and boss boss can help you fight but not for promotion since it depends on other factors.

Generally how long does it take to promote from mx11 to mx11a?
On average I mean. And fastest example? Possible within 2-3 years?

If ur boss like u, it can be very fast or if u scholar, over at my ministry to climb to managemsnt post, they send u to complete ur job rotation at policy. Once u come back, wait fir promotion.
