People who are in the software development career. What is your salary at your pinnacle before it starts going down or plateau?

salary
You know it depends on where you are actually working. Php web development services can give you about 70k $ in year, java gives you 50 or more on peak. I think you need to choose where you want to programm if you already didnt do that, then just do your thing and you will be fine)

I feel like it doesn't stagnant easily, 2 years of experience but over 150K in terms of total compensation (including RSU + bonus)
I feel that there are different type of engineer in the industry and you can't compare them, many companies just need someone with basic coding skills from bootcamp/self-taught with perhaps some experience
but the really good engineers typically work at unicorn companies or top tech companies like FAANG which is quite different in terms of career/salary progression

Varies wildly depending on which type of companies you join. I'm on 120k (non FAANG). I know people with double my experience earning half of that. I also know people half my experience earning double of that.
