This is why LAE are being paid more.

Upon finishing your trainee life, u start off with 3k base and with OTs. u can easily earn $5k. at least thats what i was beng told during the interview.

And if you really dun like getting your hands dirty, you should not go for this job.

Really myopic to earn money by doing OTs. It is just exchanging your finite time with money.
The smart ones either earn by increasing their per-hour wage via expertise gained (think doctors, lawyers), or leveraging (think bankers), or widening contacts (think sales), or climbing the corporate ladder (think management in MNCs).

Come to think of it, there is always a choice after u finished the bond.

If u are outstanding in the job, you might be promoted to management level. And if not, you can opt for being a lecturer in the ITE/Poly.

The skills and license obtained throughout are worth the effort.

After training,basic is less than 2k..

As for outstanding engineers to be promoted..hv u heard of this saying..if gd workers r promoted, who will do the job..?

Going into education sector sounds gd..but will nv find a matching pay..gd luck

For foreigner like Malaysian can join apprenticeship in SIAEC or ST Aerospace ?
