Comparing JB and Sg prices

Save a lot using JB stuff. Please give more examples if u have

1. Rice - cheapest Sg rice at S$8.30, I can buy Songhe rice in JB
2. House painting - Sg would cost S$7k for interior at least, JB, I spent S$1 k only. Got Sg bangla workers to do, cost me S$3k also in Sg.
3. Autogate - Sg would cost S$8k, in JB we did it for S$2k.
4. Floor tiles - In JB we did it for about S$2k, Sg would be much higher

A BYD M6 7 seater MPV costs S$150k in Sg and S$33k in JB

Sg lasts for 10 years and JB lasts for lifetime.

What's your point of starying this thread anyway? Might as well compare to Indonesia. Batam even cheaper. Better still compare to Myanmar. So damn cheap in SGD. What's your point

Many Sgpn go across the causeway weekly to shop in JB. This thread would be useful to them.

The rest of the Asean countries are not so accessible by car, so no point mentioning them.
