Thanks for sharing. Are there 2 schemes of service - one for technical (like the one you have explained earlier) and another for non-technical? If so, what is the hierarchy like then for the latter?

M2 salary grade is called principal engineer.
M3 salary grade is called senior principal engineer.

I have one project they just arrow the E5 to do all the work and his title for that project is "project manager"

I have another project M3 is the "person in charge" his kpi and bonus for that year is tied to this project.
But he just delegate to E5 to do all the work but that E5 is called project engineer.

Alot of in between M1 and M2 dunno do what one.
They call themselves managers. But they don't manage the project.

In short, everything is just hire fresh grad E5 to do all the work while the higher ups just relax and retire at work.

1 day family care leave.
Kind of little compare to outside, some even got 2-3 days family care leave and 1 day birthday leave.

Now max bring forward annual leave only max 5 days.

This year is 5 days. Next year onwards is 0.

Leave policy getting more and more lousy.

Looking for job outside then I see that ST leave (be it annual leave, family care, birthday leave etc), GP health care, dental health is way lesser than usual.

Outside still have company that can allow bring forward 1 year of annual leave, some also allow to bring forward 8 to 10days. In terms of GP health care, here still need co-pay, some outside company is fully paid. Here start with 16 days of annual leave, some outside I see start with 18days.

The benefit is getting more lousy as the year goes by and higher management more pattern than ever nowadays.

Boss will not approve for sure, secondly if really can I think best is not to have you as colleague if not your colleague need to cover 1 month ++

Don’t think so will be zero next year, that too much, most companies outside at least allow carry forward 50% of annual leave. Whatever, not like I will still be inside ST by then.

They cut to 5 days stating “to allow staff to enjoy work life balance” is BS! They just don’t want people to accumulate a lot of leave to carry forward.
