Yeah, it depends on the department you are in. I am fully WFH and have rarely worked overtime in the six months since I joined. I finish work by 5:30/6pm and I don't bother checking emails or messages after that. I also like to mute my group whatsapp during weekends

Went for job interview under IHIS recently

Was interviewed by a Director from HR.

He was very arrogant.

What job title were you interviewing for? The HR Director would not be there unless it was a top management role.

What did the arrogant HR person say?

IHIS is trying to conceal deep-seated issues within the company with a salary that is above the market average.

hospital systems are 24/7 but so are many other applications outside of healthcare, eg. eCommerce, social media, national security systems, some production factories, Banking systems are 24/7 availability too.

So i don't get the argument why ihis has to be managed in a different way that kills the longevity of their staff, as though the problems they are facing are unique to ihis only.... which is not true.. i have seen 24/7 systems managed very well with good planning, workload and rotation and staff retention is high

IHIS seems to have problems retaining talent because of shoddy management or overwhelming workloads.. their mid managements are strong headed and set in their old ways.

The problems are so deep seated, it is not something that can be solved in afew years
