Hi, I'm seeing a lot of messages saying the wait for offer or response post-interview can be really long?

I completed the 2nd (and final) interview for an OE position a little over a month ago. But till now no official response. I'd sent an email a few weeks back enquiring about any updates, but they basically just said still seeing other candidates and when status is ready, will update.

Anyone else in sort of the same situation?
