Don't be disheartened by the joker sour grape.
I must say you have done well. Not many people at 44 can retire with passive income of $72k pa. And not many own 3 condos. Many retire with just a HDB flat and savings from CPF minimum sum and their own savings. You must have got a high paying job and invested well before you retired. Congrats! You are indeed a success story, worthy of interview by ST for their Sunday investment section.

You must be joking. If he owns 3 condos and let's say each condo is worth $1.5m, his net worth is at least $4.5m. Are you saying your lowly paid jr-mid level managers willing to see your face every morning if they are each worth $4.5m? LOL.

52, annual salary $50k. Sole breadwinner.
Assets - HDB flat in Jurong East now worth $550k, no more mortgage; cash & CPF about $200k.
By the time I'm 65 (in 2026), my Jurong East flat will be worth $1 mil because Jurong will be the new CBD by then. I can then sell my flat and retire. I will stay with one of my kids and spend the money for retirement.
I support our asset enhancement program. It is the only way for small people like me to retire rich. I bought my flat last time for only $150k. With the main upgrading program and the Jurong Lake CBD plan, my flat value has gone up. I'm very happy.

Super kiasi guy
I must be S'pore most super kiasi guy. Don't dare invest in share nor property. Wife also convinced by me to be kiasi. Whole life keeps money in FDs and CPF. Only buy HDB for own stay.
Seen FDs rates fall from 8% in 1980s to 1.6% nowadays. Very pek chek.
Cash in FDs, single premiums ins., endowment etc : $1.9m
CPF : $1.5m (all in)
Yearly "returns"
Interest : about $30k per year
CPF interest that we can draw out : $20k per year
Was looking forward to retire and just depend on interests, but with this kind of pek chek interest, very tough. If interest go back to 8%, Ho seh liow - 150k, eat also cannot finish
