first, go to CDP in SGX centre to open a Central Depository Account.

then, you need a brokerage account with one of the brokers here in Singapore. you can probably do that too near the CDP counter - there are usually some brokerage guys there to market their services.

Concentrate on your career instead. There is not much you can make from the stock market with just a 2k monthly salary as seed capital.

Even if you are a hedge fund ace that can generate 15% year on year that is only going to make you a few hundred tops a year because of your lack of base. Also I do not recommend admin assistants with zero knowledge on finance play the stock markets. You will just get eaten up by the BBs.

Recent CPF studies already show 78% of layman lose money over 1o years in the financial markets and another 14% cannot even beat 2.5% interest given by CPF. You are much better off trying to build your career than waste time setting aside a few hundred bucks a month montioring the markets to earn that $100 a year that hardly translates to $8 a month.
