In order for such transfer to take place, the donor HR and the recipient HR have to agree to facilitate the process. You can easily contact the donor HR since u and them are currently working in the same organisation. As for the other side, you probably have to bank on your director-to-be to activate them.

Yes, because the process is so cumbersome, the staff is usually asked to just resign. Of course, in doing so, you wont keep your PB.

U may still retain your years in service, depending on the recipient HR.

Can I check, how do 1 qualify for the transfer of service from 1 ministry to another?

Do they have any condition? Because I heard that one of my colleague was actually told to resign instead of given the transfer of service to another ministry.

I do not want to lose the increment as well as PB. Lol.

TIA.

I am 35 yrs old, local U, working in MNC with pay at 8K. Now I am getting two offers, one from LTA, 9K, P3, AS+VB Another one from Hitachi ebworx, 9.8K, VB only. If you were me, which one you chose? I just heard ebworx has very bad work-life-balance, OT is very normal in the company, even at Saturday or Sunday.

Interesting, I thought they mainly arranged returned books on shelves and scanned library cards. That's my memory of a librarian anyway.

I see. Do you mind sharing your career progression over the years.

Similar to yourself, I went thru poly route and thereafter, obtained my degree from Australia uni (part time) while working full time.

However, my HR told me that it's not recognized.

I'm 30 this year, mx12
