i graduated from nus mech engineering.
now i am 32.
i started work as an engineer, earning 2.4k as starting salary.
i changed jobs along the way, always being an engineer.
i started in my current company (oil and gas) as a project engineer about 4 years ago.
now i am drawing almost 12k per month as a project manager.
so to Poor and Stupid, being an engineer can still bring you good income

Why does everyone keep saying things that imply anything less than a 10k salary is some sort of loser? What is wrong with drawing 5k monthly salary and enjoying what you like at work?
Besides this forum, most of my peers in engineering or other faculties in both public & private sectors also getting around there. Only in here that all sorts of superscale elites keep insulting us normal career people. Even if all this BS is real, why cant you leave us alone?
Fine we normal PMEs are losers compared to you star bankers / sales / consultant, we get it already. OK?

there is no used complaining around..
IF everyone earn 10K , there will be no people wannaa sweep the floor
Imagine what the world will happen if there are no engineer.
To those unhappy minnion , just quit your job ,and find a better one that suit u
If really wanna earn money , go and do business , why get employed . your salary is determined by your boss.
Start a company and your income growth potential will be unlimited 1mil per annum or even billion also no problem,

Actually no nid 10k, at least match us with those data entry jobs pay!! (like 8k) duno why it seems like harder job will get lesser pay, maybe because it is "challenging" and not "boring".
ya, start a business. then all misers in sg bargain until ur profit margin zero, because everyone got no spending power left to buy big macs.
